Premier Guided Cougar Hunting in New Mexico

Take on the challenge of guided cougar hunting, also known as mountain lion hunting in New Mexico with Ten High Outfitters. Our hunts focus on remote public land areas where mountain lions are most active, providing a truly adventurous and rewarding hunting experience. With New Mexico’s rugged terrain and healthy cougar populations, hunters have excellent opportunities to pursue a trophy mountain lion.

Ten High Outfitters offers guided cougar hunts for all levels of hunters. These hunts are highly dependent on weather conditions. Although some of our houndsmen have the dogs to run dry ground, having a blanket of fresh snow is optimal. Our licensed guides use in-depth local knowledge of mountain lion behavior, travel patterns, and terrain navigation to put hunters in position for success. Safety, ethics, and fair-chase hunting are at the core of every hunt.

Whether you’re attempting your first cougar hunt or seeking a trophy mountain lion, our team ensures a fully guided, well-organized, and unforgettable hunting adventure. Hunters benefit from strategic tracking, stealth, and hands-on guidance to maximize every opportunity in the field.
