Hunting Information

At Ten High Outfitters, we want every hunter to feel prepared, confident, and fully informed before arriving in New Mexico. Below is a clear overview of how our hunts work, what's included, and what to expect in the field.

Physical Expectations
We guide hunts for all experience and fitness levels. Terrain varies from moderate ground to rugged mountain country.

Please let us know ahead of time if you:
  • Have mobility limitations
  • Prefer less demanding terrain
  • Need a slower-paced hunt

We'll do our best to match you with appropriate areas and a guide who fits your style.

Be Prepared Physically for Your Hunt

Your physical ability is one of the most important factors in having a successful hunt. While you are paying for a fully outfitted experience, your success also depends on your ability to get into position and take the shot when the opportunity arises. Our team works hard to provide guidance and support, but hunters need to be physically ready to make the most of their hunt.

Please come prepared and in good physical condition to ensure you have the best possible experience in the field.

Hunt Style & Experience
Our hunts are conducted on the most pristine public lands across New Mexico. We use a deadly combination of scouting, glassing, calling, and spot-and-stalk tactics depending on species, season, and terrain.

You can expect:
  • Early mornings and active glassing
  • Long days in the field
  • Professional guidance and communication
  • Safe, ethical hunting methods
  • A personalized approach based on your abilities and goals

We tailor every hunt to the client - whether you prefer aggressive spot-and-stalk or slower-paced setups.
Hunter to Guide Ratio
We offer:
  • 2-on-1 guided hunts (2 hunters to 1 guide)
  • 1-on-1 guided hunts available upon request (1 hunter to 1 guide-Additional $1,000)

All guides are experienced, knowledgeable, and committed to exceptional service in making your hunt a success.
